As a ministry of Bay Point Church, our Preschool is a Christ-centered and child-focused early education program serving families in the Nokomis and Venice communities.
We offer child care for children as young as 6 weeks up through our VPK program that prepares students to enter kindergarten. Our student-teacher ratios are low intentionally, so that each student receives individualized care and support through all stages of early childhood development. Our center is open from 7:30am - 5:30pm, and we offer several day & pick-up time combinations to meet the needs of busy families.
Nestled in quiet neighborhood, our Preschool campus features a traditional gated playground for older students as well as a private, turfed interior courtyard where our younger students can explore nature, build social skills and learn through play in a safe environment. Each classroom serves only 1 age group at a time so that children are learning alongside peers who are at the same developmental stage.
We recently invested in an enhanced security system using face recognition panels that allow only parents and other authorized caregivers to enter the preschool environment. Safety and security are critical components of our program.
And so is fun! Our school year is packed with opportunities for families to celebrate their students while getting to know other families, such as our Family Christmas Night, Spring Art Show, Thankful Feast, Parents Night Out, and many other events and activities.
